The 2008 GALA was held on Sunday, June 1 at the Colonial Inn in Norwood, NJ. This year UHR honored Bill and Ginny Maloney of Vista Electrical Contractors Inc. for their dedication and support of Hospice and the community.

With an 18 piece orchestra and a star-studded cast of entertainers from Broadway, along with first-class raffle and silent auction prizes, the event brought in a record $129,000 to go toward "Raising the Roof" of the first Hospice House in Rockland.
